This year, Streetside Seafood has once again been awarded the highly coveted Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. Each year since 2010, Streetside has been recognized by Wine Spectator as having a wine list that offers interesting selections, is appropriate to the cuisine and appeals to a wide range of wine lovers. The readers of Hour Detroit Magazine know precisely where to find the best seafood in the suburbs – Streetside, of course. The year, in the magazine’s Best of Detroit awards, Streetside was named the Best Seafood Restaurant in the suburbs. On Friday, June 27, Streetside (along with sister restaurant and fellow winner Beverly Hills Grill) will celebrate this honor at the Best of Detroit Party at MotorCity Casino in Detroit. (June 2014)
On January 28th, all of the Roberts Restaurant Group restaurants came together to provide a strolling dinner for the 2014 Circle of Friends Preview Party, an annual fundraising event hosted by CARE House of Oakland County. The non-profit CARE House is a leading resource in the prevention of child abuse. Special guest John Walsh — a longtime voice for child victim advocacy — appeared at this well-attended event. When TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel website, announced its 2013 Certificate of Excellence award recipients, two Roberts Restaurant Group restaurants were on the list: Streetside Seafood and Beverly Hills Grill. The award celebrates hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on the TripAdvisor site. Winners hail from all points across the globe, from Albania to Zimbabwe. Or, in our case, from Birmingham to Beverly Hills. (August 2013)
